The parade begins at 3:30 Stoneham High School on Franklin St., travels down Franklin St to Central Square, taking a right onto Main St ( Rte 28) and proceeds to Elm Street, taking a right and then another right onto Central Street where it ends at the Stoneham Middle School. 

There will be food, music and games on the Town Common after the parade, while we wait for dark and Stoneham's first drone show at 7 pm!

FAQs

  • The Parade will leave from the High School at 3:30 and proceed down Franklin to Main Street. 
  • The start of the parade is expected to reach the Middle School about 4:15 to 4:30.  The full parade is over 3/4 of a mile long, and will end at approximately 5 to 5:30.
  • There will be Music on the Common after the parade is finished.  Central Street will be closed to traffic from the Square to Common Street after the parade has moved from Main Street (approximately 5 pm)
  • The Drone show will be visible for a quite a distance (at least a mile) on all sides of Rec Park. 
  • Best Viewing  for the Drone show will be west of Rec Park (e.g. from Nobility Hill, the Town Common looking over Town Hall, etc. ) The Common will have music cued to the Light Show displays.
